ASICS NOVA BLAST – SHOE REVIEW

Soft, light and airy. These were the first words I thought about when I wore these badass looking shoes. The Novablast is neutral running shoe that is built for runner seeking a response from their shoes. They have a very trendy look making them very Instagram able shoes. In terms of overall usage, I’ve broken them into three different segments based on the following:

Looks, Usage, and Type

Looks:

The Novablast Tokyo come in Black/Graphite Grey colour only. In terms of looks, they pack quite a punch with their wild looks, and the reflective details provide extra visibility in low-light conditions. It is sleek, and there is no doubt about that.

Usage:

In terms of usage, the Novablast packs the new FLYTEFOAM® Blast midsole foam which keeps your stride bouncier giving you a trampoline effect that will propel you forward. It does have a highly responsive cushioning which will make your runs efficient.

Type:

The engineered multidirectional mesh upper is very soft fitted with a standard toe box finish for the forefoot. The mesh is surprisingly breathable, making it a pretty decent partner for a long run down the summertime post sunrise runs.

My Experience so far….

I would say I was very much impressed with the design, looks and style. However, this shoe is not a stability shoe, so if you are a non-neutral runner, this one is not a recommended choice. If you would like to have a different style in your shoebox, then this is a recommended pick. Something less intense, more casual.
