The GEL-LYTE™ III OG silhouette incorporates a split-tongue application that was initially inspired by the GEL-LD RACER™ shoe. Designed by Shigeyuki Mitsui in 1990, the GEL-LYTE™ III OG has come out in the same structure as it originally was, the first them it debuted.
With AISCS collaborating with the likes of Sean Weather spoon and Ronnie Fieg this year the Dragonfruit edition of the GEL-LYTE™ III takes on a tropical twist to the colour schemes.
This audacious colour flow of the Asics Gel Lyte 3 Dragon Fruit comes in suede of teal and pink shades, with the Tiger black laces complimenting the colour balance of the shoe. The shoes overall have soft hues all throughout. Flashes of hot pink come in the form of the shoe’s outsole and midsole, while hints of purple and black complete the look. The very juicy colours and the fruity element is what makes it call the DRAGON FRUIT edition.
The shoe is a very casual type of sneaker. Pretty straightforward with that. You can pull these off with darker tones of outfits, so they are well complemented with the outfit. Personally, would pull these on black costumes and greyish bottoms.
